If your tribe does not have "477" you may want to contract with us to put an appliction together: Public Law 102-477. This law allows tribes to integrate employment, training, and related service programs. Although no additional federal dollars are associated with this law, it does allow and encourage the combining of resources resulting in lowered administrative costs. Once you have 477, staff spends more time and money on the intended participants and projects. Under the P.L. 102-477 funding resources are combined, mixing dollars from various federal agencies. M&D Management and Development Services (MDMDS) has managed a 477 project since 2002, and has provided consultation to several tribes to design individualized tribal plans since 2004.
